The sheer numbers hint at how amazing the Arlberg skiing region really is: 97 gondolas, cableway & lifts cover a winter-sports eden with 350-km of groomed pistes and 200-km of powder runs (although the latter is merely an educated guess, as the Arlberg in reality offers limitless alternatives for freeriding).
An impressive and internationally recognized name, unique mountains, winter sports pioneers, cultural diversity, solid luxury and Alpine lifestyle – these are some of the prerequisites for earning the label “Best of the Alps.” St. Anton am Arlberg has all this and more.
The world's most famous ski school was founded in 1921 by Hannes Schneider. Today, as then, the Arlberg Ski School plays a pioneering and innovating role for the entire branch. More than 350 local and international certified snow sport instructors and mountaineers share their winter-sports knowledge in the Arlberg mountains.
Please contact the reception if you want us to make reservations for alpine or cross country skiing lessons!
